File sharing

Freeloading downloaders of music and films who don’t want to be called pirates prefer to say they are ‘file-sharing’ — even though what they are ‘sharing’ is something they don’t own and have taken without paying. If I hack into a bank’s computers and transfer money to all my friends, am I ‘money-sharing’?
